Steven
Where were you when the earthquake happened in Tohoku on March 11th, 2011?
Kenji
I was working at the office. It was a beautiful day. The birds were singing, the sun was shining and I was feeling that spring was in the air.
Steven
How was your family?
Kenji
Fortunately they were fine. First and foremost, I called and told them, “ Hold on, I’m coming.”
Steven
I pray that the recovery will progress at rapid speed.
Kenji
Thank you. We are working hand-in-hand with people in my town.
スティーブン：
2011年3月の大地震の時、あなたはどこにいたんですか？

ケンジ：
私はオフィスで仕事をしていました。その日は天気もよく鳥がさえずり、太陽が輝き、春の訪れを感じていました。

スティーブン：
ご家族はいかがでしたか？

ケンジ：
幸運にも、皆無事でした。何よりも真っ先に電話して、今行くので待っていてくれ、と言いました。

スティーブン：
いつも復興が１日も早く進むことを祈っています。

ケンジ：
ありがとうございます。私たちは町民皆で手を取り合って進めています。
