Kate
Yeah, I majored in French in college. It was too difficult and I was barely good enough to follow the class.
Kenji
I see. Well, what do you think of my English?
Kate
I think your English has considerably improved, to be honest.
Kenji
Thanks, Kate. So, what do I need to do to improve more?
Kate
I guess, to speak a foreign language well, you should try living overseas.

ええ、大学の時フランス語を専攻していたわ。とても難しくて、クラスについていくのがやっとだったわ。
