Canada is the second largest country in the world and a common place to visit for people who love nature or are into winter sports. Many people often imagine that Canada is a cold country with snow year-round. However, Canada can have some pretty hot days on the beach. You just need to know when to visit.
Vancouver and Toronto are the most famous cities in Canada. The two could not be anymore different. Vancouver is most recently famous for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is a large city surrounded by beautiful nature and the Rocky Mountains. The scenery is simple breathtaking. In fact, the next time you watch a movie look very carefully at the location because a lot of Hollywood movies and American TV shows are filmed in Vancouver.
Toronto, which is the largest city in Canada, is not the capital. You need to go to Ottawa to see the Parliament buildings. Toronto is also Canada’s most diverse city with a reported 49% of the population born outside of Canada. It is the city to visit for culture, entertainment, beautiful architecture or to watch sports. Seven major sports are all represented in Toronto.
