Free Time

Sometimes I think that there aren’t enough hours in the day for all the things I want to do. One of my passions is writing, so if I had the time, I think I’d write a novel. Of course writing takes a lot of time. Also you need inspiration to write a good novel. So maybe I’d take a long holiday to a tropical island with very few people. I could sit on the beach and make notes, then in the evening I could relax on the balcony with a cocktail and write my novel.

Another dream of mine is to start my own business, maybe a hotel or bar, or even a nice cafe. Planning your own business needs a lot of time too. I think I’d like to open a hotel in a beautiful patch of country side or somewhere near the sea. The hotel would be an old historical building with big rooms, a restaurant and bar. The service would be excellent and the atmosphere would be cozy, warm and inviting.

My final wish, if I had more free time, would be to go sailing on a big yacht. I’d love to explore the Mediterranean sea, maybe with a few friends for six months. Sailing from port to port and island to island enjoying the sun and the sea air. Now if only I had more free time…
