Tokyo Disneyland Brings Holiday Magic with New Christmas Parade

On November 10, Tokyo Disneyland held a press preview for its special Disney Christmas event, featuring the debut of a brand-new parade, "Toys Wonderous Christmas!" This is the park's first new Christmas parade in ten years.

The parade spotlights toys crafted by Santa Claus and his elves. It begins with Santa making toys, then shows the elves bringing to life the wishes written in letters from children around the world.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their Disney friends also appear in the parade. Festive characters — such as Christmas-themed teddy bears and a nutcracker marching band — add to the cheerful atmosphere. As children's wishes come true and smiles spread throughout the park, Santa and his friends celebrate together, bringing the magical Christmas story to a joyful finale.

The park was full of happy faces as the colorful parade made its way through. Hinano Yamaguchi, a visitor from Tokyo, said, "We're staying at a Disney hotel and entered early with Happy Entry. The new parade is amazing — the costumes and choreography are so cute.“

A 15-meter-tall Christmas tree now stands at the center of World Bazaar, the shopping street that welcomes guests as they enter the park. Special decorations inspired by the new parade have also been added in front of Cinderella Castle.

Restaurants across the park are offering limited-time holiday dishes. At Grandma Sara's Kitchen, guests can enjoy a set meal of omurice topped with fried shrimp and finished with a shrimp–tomato cream sauce. The meal is accompanied by a festive pecan cake for dessert.

Exclusive merchandise featuring Mickey and friends in festive holiday outfits is also on sale. Plush toys and accessories show Mickey and Minnie wearing Santa hats and red-and-green sweaters, and fan caps are available as well.

A wide range of items featuring Li'l RingRing, the Disney Christmas fairy character, is also offered, including stationery, magnets, keychains, sweaters, scarves, and blankets.

Once again, Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating the season with a Christmas full of magic and smiles.

千葉県浦安市の東京ディズニーランドで11月10日、スペシャルイベント「ディズニー・クリスマス」の報道向けプレビューが行われ、サンタクロースとエルフ（妖精）たちが生み出すおもちゃが主役の新パレード「トイズ・ワンダラス・クリスマス！」がお披露目された。東京ディズニーランドのクリスマスパレードが刷新されるのは10年ぶり。

サンタクロースがおもちゃを作り出す場面から始まり、世界中の子どもたちから届いた手紙をもとにエルフたちが願いを形にしていく物語が展開される。

パレードには、ミッキーマウスやミニーマウスをはじめとするディズニーの仲間たちが登場。クリスマスの飾りをまとったテディベアやくるみ割り人形の音楽隊など、にぎやかなキャラクターたちが盛り上げる。子供たちの願いがかない、パークが笑顔で満ちたとき、サンタクロースと仲間たちは喜び合い、心温まるマジカルなクリスマスがクライマックスを迎える。

華やかなパレードが通過したパーク内は、笑顔であふれていた。東京都から訪れた山口陽菜乃さんは「今日はディズニーホテルに宿泊し、ハッピーエントリーで入園しました。新しいパレードは衣装も振り付けも可愛くて最高です」と話した。

パークに入園してすぐに表れるショッピング街、ワールドバザールの中央には、高さ15メートルの巨大なクリスマスツリーが登場。またシンデレラ城の前には、トイズ・ワンダラス・クリスマス！をモチーフにした特別なデコレーションが施された。

パーク内のレストランでは、クリスマスをイメージした限定メニューも登場。「グランマ・サラのキッチン」では、オムライスにエビフライを添え、エビトマトクリームソースで仕上げたセットメニューが提供される。デザートにはピーカンナッツのケーキが付くなど、見た目も味もクリスマスらしい華やかさだ。

カラフルな衣装に身を包んだミッキーと仲間たちがデザインされた限定グッズも販売される。サンタ帽をかぶり、赤と緑のセーターを着たミッキー＆ミニーのぬいぐるみや雑貨、ファンキャップが登場。

さらに、クリスマスの妖精「リルリンリン」のグッズも多数ラインアップ。ステーショナリー、マグネット、キーチェーンなどの日用品から、セーターやマフラー、ブランケットまで幅広く展開される。

今年も東京ディズニーランドは、笑顔と魔法に包まれた特別なクリスマスを展開する。
